Ballroom/Swing Dancing Lessons

Only Session 1 = Jan 7 - Feb 24 and Session 2 = Feb 25 - Apr 14

Couples interested in learning ballroom/swing dancing, join us to learn the basics. There is a limit of 20 couples.

BODYCOMBAT

Les Mills BODYCOMBAT is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed.  This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide arrray of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.  Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.  Like all the LES MILLS programs, a new BODYCOMBAT class is produced every three months with new music and choreography.

BODYPUMP

BODYPUMP is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for--and FAST! BODYPUMP class is up to date with new music and choreography to make the workout fun.

  • Shapes and tones the muscles
  • Improves general fitness and well-being
  • Increases bone density (important in avoiding osteoporosis)

Cardio and Tone

Traditional, Club, Latin, box Aerobics and Interval moves keep this workout fun and effective!  Class includes resistance bands and wights for maximum toning, and flexibility work to cool down.  Workout to current hit music and favorites from the past.  Great class for all fitness levels.

CXWORX

CXWORX is a short, sharp workout that will inspire you to the next level of fitness, while strengthening and toning your body.  CXWORX is based on cutting-edge schientific research with a 30-minute format.  It combines the best of personal training with the energy of a group fitness class.

Family Kettle Bell Pump

Join us each Tues. & Thurs. from 5:15 - 5:45 pm in room 305 for this Kettle Bell class which is geared toward families that would like to exercise together!

For ages 12 and up! Children 12-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Friday Night Workout

Start your weekend off right!  Join in for some punching, kicking and hip-hopping fun while getting in your third work-out for the week.

Indoor Cycling Classes

Power Pacing indoor cycling is a combination of aerobic and conditioning training performed on a stationary bike A 45 minute class burns up to 500 calories, depending on the individual. Water bottles and a towel are a must for all classes!

Classes are held in the cycling studio on the river level of the YMCA.

Cycling Tickets apply when bikes are available members registered for the class get first priority on bikes. Cycling tickets can be used on a per class.

Kettle Bell Pump

Our certified Kettle Bell Pump instructors will push you to your limits to shape every muscle, achieve functional strength, drop inches, increase flexibility, reduce body fat and improve your cardiovascular system. This class uses the Russian Kettle Bells to help anyone acquire the kind of functional strength that’s valuable in almost any area of endeavor, drop inches and weight, or both.

Line Dancing Lessons

Learn how to Line Dance!  If you feel like you have 2 left feet and want to enjoy yourself at special occasions and weddings, join us for this new class.

Wellness & Cycling Tickets

Wellness and Cycling Tickets are an efficient and convenient way of paying for classes.

They allow you to participate in a variety of classes that fit into your busy schedule. 

Each packet includes 14 Fitness Tickets.  Each class requires a full ticket for participation (30, 45 or 60 minutes classes)

Tickets used for Cycling will apply when bikes are available - members registered for class get first priority on bikes.

Zumba Plus

If you're looking to mix up your workouts, look no further! The Lima Family YMCA is offering a dance-based fitness program called Zumba. Infusing Latin, African, and Eastern sounds, Zumba works you to  funky beats and leaves you feeling great. Our Zumba class will include additional ab and floor work.
